Our Mission Statement

We travel because we found ourselves unsatisfied, the taste of what we were supposed to do had gone sour in our mouths. We wander because we can, because we were no longer comfortable in our comfort zone. We move so that our minds may never turn to stone as we sit and follow orders. We embark because we do not need anything we cannot carry on our backs. We travel to feel the fear of the unknown and the freedom of knowing nothing. We travel to learn, to love, to experience. We Go to taste a little of South America and bite into the unknown.

Waiting

The further away i get from the darkness, the less detail i can see within it. The lighter i feel today the more yesterday seems like a very heavy dream. Its snowing outside my window, and i can hear the wind screaming. she wails out in impatience, yelling through the trees. Thousands of flakes fall from the sky in the blackness of night. They have yet to settle down somewhere to slumber, the wind keeps them awake. Now that the fog has cleared, now that i feel the sun, the steps i have taken to escape the abyss, the actions to no longer be alone, have left me with plans for greatness and all the doubt in the world. Here i am, back at home base, waiting for the starting gun. Here i am, watching it snow, watching the wind howl like a woman scorned. Waiting for the ground to freeze over so i can step onto the slippery surface and do my very best not to fall over. Here i am, praying i followed the right path, hoping my choice was the right one. Just waiting.
