I just finished my third semester at Reed College in portland Oregon and i am leaving on february 10th 2015 to Barranquilla Colombia where i will start a journey through South America for an undetermined amount of time. I have never been one for doing what i am meant to.
Our Mission Statement
We travel because we found ourselves unsatisfied, the taste of what we were supposed to do had gone sour in our mouths. We wander because we can, because we were no longer comfortable in our comfort zone. We move so that our minds may never turn to stone as we sit and follow orders. We embark because we do not need anything we cannot carry on our backs. We travel to feel the fear of the unknown and the freedom of knowing nothing. We travel to learn, to love, to experience. We Go to taste a little of South America and bite into the unknown.

Im standing at the edge of a cliff, looking down into the abyss beneath. jagged rocks creep up over the top of the waters and i gaze into the transparent fog. What is one meant to think about when they have reached the end of all things? Are we meant to wonder for our safety, because i wonder many things before i wonder that. Are we meant to wish to fly? I wish to fall through space down into nothing, onto everything. What might it be like to leap out onto the clouds and sit upon them like a god? or play within them like a child dreams of doing when she looks up at the world? What is one meant to think when they stand at the edge of a cliff? I've never been one for doing what i am meant to. The loudest voice inside my head yells into my ear that it will hurt less to break into a million pieces at the bottom than it would to never know what exists in the waters below the fog.
